Giving every Filipino the chance to live a good life has always been at the heart of the W&J Lim Foundation’s mission. Through the kindness of our customers at 49 WalterMart Supermarkets across the country and 45 Abenson stores in NCR, we’ve witnessed how small acts of generosity can create a ripple of hope.
Together, through humble coin banks, we raised an amazing P532,307.03—showing that even small contributions can bring big changes to many lives. On January 15, 2025, all proceeds from the coin bank project were turned over to UP Philippine General Hospital and Child’s Foundation to help more children with their treatment and medication.
The pediatric ward is filled with vibrant colors and playful designs, creating a bright and uplifting space where brave young warriors can embrace their childhood and find strength and joy as they continue their journey to recovery.
During our conversation with Dr. Kryzl Maranan, M.D., the chief resident, she shared that the donation will touch the lives of hundreds of children. From the two general pediatric wards to patients with specialized needs, the NICU, emergency cases, and countless outpatients, each child’s journey to healing will be made a little brighter because of this collective act of kindness.
