Young people are the hope of our nation, and to help ensure a brighter future for them, Abenson and W&J Lim Foundation, through Project Cares, supported the construction of new classrooms at Sta. Ana Central High School in Pampanga. On September 19, 2024, a special groundbreaking ceremony was held to celebrate this exciting milestone.
The high school was founded in 2021 by Public School District Supervisor Ms. Edna Pineda, because the city of Sta. Ana did not have a high school to serve its elementary graduates. Before this, students from Sta. Ana had to travel to Mexico, San Fernando or San Agustin, Pampanga to continue their secondary education.
Sta. Ana Central High School has rapidly grown, with the Grade 7 student population increasing from just over 90 in 2021 to 559 in just three years. While the school is making the most of four borrowed classrooms from Sta. Ana Central Elementary School, creating more space for learning will greatly help meet the needs of these eager students.
The construction of new classrooms has been made possible by a partnership with HOPE and Fruitas Holdings, Inc. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to providing quality education and fostering a brighter future for the students of Sta. Ana, Pampanga.
Rain or shine, the students of Sta. Ana Central High School arrived with big smiles for the groundbreaking ceremony. Their excitement and appreciation emanated as they looked forward to the new classrooms that would soon be built.
This is just the third of many classrooms that’ll be donated by the W&J Lim Foundation in the years to come. Empowering these young minds to recognize their capabilities and talents at an early age is a source of pride and joy for Abenson Group.
