LG, in collaboration with Project Cares of W&J Lim Foundation and Abenson, brought smiles to the residents of Barangay Malanday, Marikina City. A Libreng Palaba and Service Check-up was held from August 9 to 11, 2024 for those affected by Super Typhoon Carina.
The free laundry service and service check-up were initiated by LG Philippines with Project Cares fully supporting the initiative by providing liquid detergent and fabric conditioners. This joint effort highlights the commitment of these organizations to remind us all that life’s good when we do good.
The community gave LG and Abenson a warm welcome, quickly bringing out their laundry baskets. It was heartwarming to see entire families helping to load their clothes into the heavy-duty washing machines. They took turns and were filled with joy as Libreng Palaba truly alleviated one of their daily chores. Fresh-smelling clothes in under an hour! All smiles as they collected their clean garments!
And to top it all, foldable fans along with fabric conditioners and big packs of liquid detergent were handed out to the residents.
Life is good when we do good, especially during tough times. It’s all about coming together and spreading kindness where it’s needed most. Together, we can make a real difference!
