The much-awaited Sony PlayStation 5 is coming to the Philippines. Filipino gamers can finally get their hands on the new PS5 — almost! The country is one of the first to have the PS5 this December, no need to wait for the new year.
Stocks are very limited around the world. How can you get yours? Here’s how.
Bring out the pen and paper because here are the details you should know. The pre-order for the new PS5 is happening on November 20 and it’ll be done exclusively online to avoid crowding at any store. You may pre-order the PS5 at abenson.com at 2PM sharp! The pre-order window is only five minutes, so make sure to fill up the pre-order form quickly.
The pre-order is on a first-come, first-serve basis with a limit of only one unit per customer. Again, stocks will be limited which means registration is not a guaranteed reservation. Customers can expect a confirmation email or a call from an Abenson representative within 4 hours.
For the payment, confirmed pre-orders must be paid online using a debit card, credit card (straight payment only), or GCash. The delivery fee will vary depending on the customer’s address. Pre-ordered units will be delivered between December 15 to 20, 2020.
The Sony PS5 has a retail price of P27,990 for the main variant with a Blu-ray drive, while the official PS5 accessories are coming very soon. As of writing, the Digital Version hasn’t been locally announced yet, but it’ll be priced lower compared to the main variant like in other countries due to its lack of a Blu-ray drive.
